Why must I always be disrespectful at times like these?

2003-11-21 - 1:51 p.m.

Today is a dark, dark day for those who grew up on 80s television. Jonathan Brandis who, they tell me, guest-starred on Who's the Boss (there was also that SeaQuest thing, but I was busy that night, so I missed the whole series) apparently committed suicide. Gah.

I only dimly recall seeing him on that show. I can't remember: I was much too busy nurturing my rapturous boyhood crush on Alyssa Milano at the time. Oh, and avoiding the soul-reaving unholy gaze of Tony Danza. That too.

I am headed out for coffee with Zardoz shortly, enjoying my first truly relaxing day back in the good ol' (stolen from Luva -- humble apologies) Ca Na of Da. The first day back was cottonheaded airplane fuzziness, and then a workday after that. Today it's right back in the saddle, being a lazy shit. It's good to be home.
